Just to say that I attended yesterday. It was a lot busier than I expected and I struggled to get a parking space (thank you to the car driver who left just enough room next to them on that grass verge for my tiny motor!). It may be worthwhile getting the train in future, because Cogan railway station is in sight of the venue and is a short journey from Cardiff Central.

The place was packed (it's held in a leisure centre, so it has good facilities for toilet breaks and snacks) and looked to be merrily bustling, without being sardines. I would guess there were a few hundred visitors in the room when I went in and despite my best intentions (I only took a tenner, to limit myself) some cruel vendors were taking card payments and I did come away with a superb Kolinsky 10-0 brush and a couple of Perry's 1st Crusade Hospitallers packs.

I had some good chin-wags with the guys on the GEG stand, especially Stuart, and Guy Bowers (editor of WS&S). It was the first such event I've visited and I will probably be there again next year. Well done all the guys and gals at Penarth District Wargames Society, I hope it was as much of a financial success as it seemed.

It was up to expectations from a trade point of view and we were very grateful that the rain stopped at packing up time.

There was plenty of Trader chat about the demise of this year's Colours - other shows will undoubtedly benefit not only from an enhanced attendance  but also from traders hoping to make up for the loss of the Colours revenue and booking in to shows they haven't done before.

Anyway, Crusade continues to thrive and next year's show is a significant anniversary - well done to all concerned.

Cubs - I hope it was one of our brushes you bought.... :D :D :D

Erm ... pass. I walked in, turned left and immediately saw just the brush I've been after for ages - for half the price I expected to pay.

I was the gorgeous slab of man-meat in a Wales rugby top.

And I was the suave lounge-lizard from whom you purchased - I remember you well, perhaps because the wearing of Welsh rugby shirts is so rare in Wales... lol lol lol lol lol

It's what's under the kimono which is truly memorable.... :o
