    Hi there,
No new pics as yet, I've been cleaning up an enemy figure for all armies. I wont say what it is but hopefully will have it finished on Saturday, so pics posted on Sunday.
Anyway I am about to cut out window and door recesses on my Ten Bells Pub and have some foamboard left. I can get maybe 2 more buildings out of it. Once it is used up I will concentrate on finishing the buildings off.
So what 2 buildings do you think I should build (I have the ministry building from Amera comming). The best ideas will be built, not too challengng though, please.

Cheers

Fritzy

PS These will be built on Sunday with piccies posted in the evening. Set myself a challenge there.

Well as you have the goverment building covered, how about a Bank  and /or a building suitable for a foreign embassy nothing like a robbery or foreign intrigue to get the dice rolling!other choices would be a music hall/theatre or a Gentlemans club or a couple of shops, Hotel? You'll probably get a long list of ideas. Best thing would be to figure out your first game scenario and make sure you have everything you possably need for it.

Absolutely brilliant stuff.  You may have inspired me to actually begin some victorian/modern/pulp stuff of my own :)

One idea for a building: How about a tube station? I think the first underground railway was operating by around 1868 - and it means you won't have to buy a train! ;)

Could be a good exit/entry point and/or goal for various adventures?

Ok guys,
Sorry but I had a rather lackluster weekend. My brain was in gear and I couldn't narrow the ideas down to a couple. So I ended up doing a bit more to my centerpiece. I have the capping for the wall to do, some more paving is needed as I ran out, then paint the paving, then add the water then varnish ( or maybe varnish then add water). Any help on using woodland scenics water would be great as I've never used it before.
Anyway here's a few pics of it so far, hope you like it.
First up is the bottom with an unpainted ( how unusual) Westwind gentleman for size comparison

Second is the GW pegasus from the Empire Army for my statue

Lastly for the moment is a complete view from above.

The plynthe needs to be glued and painted as well.

Keep the comments and ideas comming, I'm now scribbling on the walls as I've run out of paper lol.

Cheers

Fritzy

Now you need an Eliza Doolittle and a flower stall to go with it.  ;)

Oooh, should have said - if it's the Woodland Scenics 'realistic water, it's better to it lay down in several thin coats and gradually build them up.
Thin coats go off hard in about 24 hours.
If you pour it too deep - it never goes off!  ;)

I like the "Peggy's 'oss"  statue - pardon the Black Country dialect. We have a similar "work of art" on one of our roundabouts in Dudley  lol  Not as nice as yours, though.

As it's a GW, I hope you got it cheap  ;)

I look forward to the finished item!

He's not plastic. It's a Westwind London Gent with a grey undercoat :)

No idea about the water effect stuff, looking forward to how it turns out on yours Fritzy, before I try it  :D

HI all,
I tried posting this lunchtime before work but didn't send it. So here goes again.

After 3 attempts to get the plynthe looking right on Sunday I think the last attempt works. The fountain wall has had the capping stones fitted and been varnished and now the plynthe has been painted. If you my esteemed coleagues think it looks ok then I'll get it varnished, and fitted to the base. Then add the water 24 hours later. :o

Here's 2 piccies to let you see the almost finished result.

Let me know what you think.

Malamute, your wish is my command, I'll try for something the weekend.

Cheers

Fritzy
