More wonderful entries.
 :-*

Full of great inspiration....

...and at this rate I wont get anything painted in time.
This has to be the fastest that the places in a Painting Club have been filled!
 :o

Looking at Ballardian's brilliant entry makes me think about redoing mine as it's more like what I think I had in mind! Sorry for ruining your miniature Paul!  lol

Dont be daft, mate.
I love your entry...it looks gross!
 8) :o 8)

In a nice, horrific way, of course!
 :D

You will just have to paint the next one differently, wont you?
...and the next one is finished, by the way, there should be at least three versions by the time they get sent away.
 ;)

You mean they won't be ready for the end of the painting club!  lol

That's excellent news that there are more on the way!

I've never used attachments - is it a method to upload stuff directly to posts?

That is correct, one clicks on the little "Additional Options" button to the bottom left of the field you type in when making a post. I've never used it either, as I like to have my pics in the body of the post next to the appropriate accompanying smart-bothered captions. But it is a nice little feature nonetheless.  :)

Avolakia?
That's his member name.  There are posts of his other figures if you search for his posts.  Quite a few nice models.

The LPC made me touch some old metal! Finally started and finished an oop Grenadier moon-beast that had been sitting on the lead pile for nearly 2 decades.

I like that figure a lot. It's a very nice, subtle paintjob too. Lovely work.

Ah - that makes more sense  lol

I just noticed that button after my last post - never really did so before. Nice for adding documents, I guess (team/warband rosters, etc.).

EDIT:

syrinx0 was so kind to ppoint to to this, so here it goes:

"These figures were seldom completely human, but often approached humanity in varying degree. Most of the bodies, while roughly bipedal, had a forward slumping, and a vaguely canine cast. The texture of the majority was a kind of unpleasant rubberiness. Ugh! I can see them now! Their occupations—well, don’t ask me to be too precise. They were usually feeding—I won’t say on what. They were sometimes shewn in groups in cemeteries or underground passages, and often appeared to be in battle over their prey—or rather, their treasure-trove. And what damnable expressiveness Pickman sometimes gave the sightless faces of this charnel booty! "

LPC 27

Another Deep One to add to the school/pod (it's a Carnevale Rashaar mini);
"I think their predominant colour was a greyish-green, though they had white bellies...Their forms vaguely suggested the anthropoid, while their heads were the heads of fish, with prodigious bulging eyes that never closed."
