Nice entries so far. The deep ones and hound were superb.

I don't have any cuthulu as such, but could a skeleton, mummy, skunk or snake head cultist do? I'm not well versed in cuthulu even after an afternoon of Google-fu and thread reading.

Cheers
Matt

Really pleased to see this one; great entries too.

Now to go and rummage through the lead pile for something suitable ....

From the rules: "the theme is all about the creatures." So, no cultist at all, even with a snake head, if I understand it correctly.

LPC 9: Tsathoggua

Quote
He was very squat and pot-bellied, his head was more like a monstrous toad than a deity, and his whole body was covered with an imitation of short fur, giving somehow a vague sensation of both the bat and the sloth. His sleepy lids were half-lowered over his globular eyes; and the tip of a queer tongue issued from his fat mouth.[2]

This model has been sitting in my window sill since 2007! (before which it sat on the window sill in my earlier house... since 2004!).

I always new I would get it painted. Thank you LPC, you really came through for me!

And now I stayed up for I don't know how much too long to finish this crap!  lol

Would it not be cool to enter Lead Adventure's Philip Von Kraft? I've been waiting since August for some deep ones to arrive from Black Cat Bases ( :'( I'm sure you've heard about the problems we've been having with them). And I picked up the Lead Adventure miniature today at Vapnartak. He does have a tiny Cthulhu sitting on his shoulders.  :D

Some great stuff!!! I leave my computer for a day and we are already up to #9. Loving these entries...each one a beautifully horrible thing!  :-* I knocked off a couple figs today as well...was planning to enter them if no one else had put anything in yet. Looks like that isn't going to be a problem. Possibly you will see them next week if things slow down. I'll get everyone into the gallery (so you can get yer badges) on Tuesday. No sooner as I'm being a Dad for a few days.  ;)

Once again, brilliant start everyone!

LPC 10 Fire Daemon

O'er the midnight moorlands crying,
Thro' the cypress forests sighing,
In the night-wind madly flying,
Hellish forms with streaming hair;
In the barren branches creaking,
By the stagnant swamp-pools speaking,
Past the shore-cliffs ever shrieking,
Damn'd demons of despair.

From the Reaper Bones line. This is the red hued figure, no primer, several coats of various reds, yellows and oranges with some washes. I think it turned out well for me playing around with it. Been sitting on my painting desk to finish for a long time now.

Really great entries!  :o

I may have to settle for the primed ghouls to take a seat in this hallowed circle... Those deep ones take quite some time to prep  :?

LPC 11 - Hound of Tindalos

A Hound of Tindalos is a horrendous quadruped which manifests itself through the corner angles of rooms in earthly structures, sending itself through time and space to attack the being on which it wishes to feed. A typical Hound has a long, sinuous tongue and drips a putrid substance like blue pus.
