That painted dino is lookin' the tits.  Is there a brief blog entry about the fluff behind any of this, or is this a 1980's cartoon "screw you and your logic and history!" approach and just "big beasties with guns!" kind of approach?  What next, a M.A.S.K. or Starcom project!?  :-*

Man I love that Recon Hadrosaur.  :o Look forward to seeing some paint on the others too.

Thanks man, the sauropods should be inbound soon!

There's fluff all right, but I'm still adding to it, so I guess it'll be a while before it surfaces. I must say that the you should not expect logic when going down my path.  ;)

IN the booklet I'm making there's going to be 6 scenarios, a brief description of the world, conversion details, painting details and a gallery of our figures.

The scenarios will focus on the exploits of a saurian robber captain called Snayk Pilzken. He leads his gang into the distant Southern lands where they'll be met by the slaves of the psychotelepathic moles of the Underdark.

Ah, well. I hope it all be good fun.  :)

Hehe, I don't know that to be true these days. Almost haven't painted in February! But thanks!  lol

top work there chaps. THere was a 2000ad story which was a bit shit about people racing dinosaurs which would be gold for you chaps as your dinos and their dinos look very similar. I am afraid I cant find any pics or remember the exact name of it though.

OK! Well I don't really know 2000AD other than from the dread films and the foundry miniatures, but Jonas mentioned that some of the fluff I've done has similarities. But well, in essence I'm stearing clear of looking at other things for inspiration for now.  :D

Got some dinos done myself:

Saurians are known to use herds of small dinos as living shields and mine clearance in battle.

$2 bag of dinos, Army Painter Dip, some sand and a couple of coasters.

Haha!  Brilliant bases Hat Guy!!! You should give the handler a prodding stick or some sort of tazer.  lol

I have finally gotten some more work done on my dinos:

A few really bad mould lines survived.. .but what the hell! These are toy dinos! No hiding the truth.

I'm sort of fond of this one now. It didn't look very promising before I got it painted, but I think it works well now.

In other news I have had the luck of getting a very talented artist, resident of this forum, on board to illustrate a bit in the booklet.   8) ;D

Wehooo!!! Managed to finish my first Southern squad!

The Southern nation is enslaved by ginormeous psychotelepathic moles and live in an termite mound like city called the Underdark. The leader of the moles lies all day and gets fed with misfits and captives from other nations.
The skin complexion of the Southern inhabitants has a pink hue to it and as with all other men, they wear gasmasks all day to avoid being further mutated.

Love the new Dino's, they have come out really well and those 'Southers' look great.

I cannot help thinking that the headgear of the second Dino is based on something that you own yourself!
