THIS is because I choice to join this forum  :-* To see something different from the "free" forums that are usually only the domain of GW cultists. Il like GW miniatures and specialistic games (especially some of the vintage ones) but sometine seem that most of the players have only eyes on the GW universe, don't considering other wargames or skirmish games, and snubbing, ignoring or  belittling all the other jobs.

EXCELLENT idea and paint job, it remember to me a little about the old "dinoriders" cartoon and toys ;)

top work there chaps. THere was a 2000ad story which was a bit shit about people racing dinosaurs which would be gold for you chaps as your dinos and their dinos look very similar. I am afraid I cant find any pics or remember the exact name of it though.

It was called slaughter bowl and the 2 dinos that look similar are in this pic.

Just spotted this thread - brought back some memories.

Inspired by the cool stuff in this thread, I decided to make a Dino with guns myself.

Took me long enough, but I finally got a test mini painted:

Not my most complex paint scheme, but I tend to take it easy on the rank-and-file anyway, lest I go nuts.

Weeehooo!

Nice!

I'm gathering up courage to actually play the scenarios that I've written now.

Finished another test model, this time a Predasaur:

Larger and less intelligent than the Saurians, Predadaurs are used as shock troops, equipped only with LMGs and slashing fangs, they are a force to be reckoned with, assuming they attack the right target.

Awesome!

What a brilliant model/build! Are you going to make more than the one?

Things are a bit dull here in dinoland otherwise. I'm still waiting for Jonas to paint his force so we can start gaming.  lol

I might introduce another force of my own while I'm waiting though. I have the perfect idea. But not the money or the figures... dang!  ;D

Thanks, the Predasaur is the first of of ten (two squads of five), it's a toy of the same name with, of course, an Ork Shoota. Found the toys for $2AUD each at my local store.

Finished another six Saurians, from a mix of squads because I didn't pay close attention to what I was painting.

I should be getting a few games in with them over the next couple of months, keep an eye out for another thread, coming soon.

No we haven't really. Things stalled a bit waiting for Jonas to finish his force.

I wrote quite a bit of background, scenarios and rules for Victory Decision but my computer died and killed it all. I never really found the spirit after that.
