also, how did you weather the rocks, just green drybrush with tan drybrush afterward?

Very awesome! I really like the realistic rock tone you achieved. The burrows are not too steep either and look convincing. Excellent idea and execution!

Thanks for all the comments guys, the slate are just that old slate roof tiles broken up to the right size, I used charendon granite color from the older gw paint range as a base for the rocks, dry brushed with a little grey added, then greens etc.

These are just great. Terrific work. Would love to see about 20 of these and 30 cairns in a clearing of a deep wood on the table. What a skirmish that could be!
