An impromptu game at Captain Blood's
« on: February 09, 2014, 04:16:44 PM »
Very fortunate to get over to Captain Bloods yesterday for an impromptu couple of games - despite howling winds, hail and rain.

I took a few photos of this fabulous terrain which can be found here

but here are a couple of teasers

Lovely. Always nice to see Blood's Zulus getting another outing.

Part of me wishes he'd forget about all that medieval nonsense and fill up Colonial Adventures with more figures and layouts like those. Another part of me doesn't want to get shown up.   ;)

The Prince Imperial game is almost a exact copy of a game I played in Ilford (Rampage?) many years ago.  I think the rules were in MW or IW a year or so afterwards but I could never track down a copy.  I think the games was run by the GLC Wargamers or some similar name.  Excellent stuff!!

I have the rules. They were published in one of the Wargames Illustrated summer specials. If you want a copy I will happily scan and Email it to you.
