You are very much the Chinese proverb, 'Journey of a 1000 miles begins with one step'
I still admire your 1000 miles, while enjoying my few steps.
Life is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the journey.
I do and I think you do too.

Splendid! Those casualties are pretty gruesome. Nicely done.

Nice additions.  Especially like the large number of casualties on one base, will make a statement about what happened in the game at that point on the table.

Though you forget one essential element - you left out the horde of flies!  Get to it, mate.   lol

Well, heck, it's been two whole days without a reply.  I'll bet he's squirreled away in some corner feverishly kicking out fly after fly after fly and will dazzle us all with his mastery of the subject - and the amazing volume of insectivoric output!  Heck, just looking at the mass is likely to induce a a gorge raising sense of the smell of death.

We await.

So, instead of a nasty horde of smelly, revolting flies we get nicely painted cavalry on pleasing bases.  Oh, the nerve of that man Deedles!   lol

I notice the Egyptian's have abandoned their white uniforms. mate.

I'm not up on Late 19th Century Egyptian uniforms so I have to ask, I take it that the khaki uniform is for on and around the period of for Omdurman?
