How can I post pictures?

Im not computer savay at all. Can some one give me step by step directions on how to do it please...so a third grader could understand...scratch that, lets go with a pre-schooler...Thank you.

Upload your image file via one of the many free image hosters.
Load the uploaded image in your webbrowser so it shows on screen.
Right Click on it, select Copy Image URL.
In your forum post, click the "insert picture" icon above the row of smilies.
In between the two bits of code that appear, insert the image url via CTRL-V or via right click -> Paste.

Profit.

Hi Stepman,

to include pictures using the "IMG" tags (as described by Cherno), they must already be available on the internet (for example Photobucket).

The address you inserted points to a file on your hard drive. If you don't have an online hosting account, you can use the direct attachment method:

When writing a post, there is a line "Additional Options" beneath the message window. Click on it to reveal the "Attach" function. Click on "Durchsuchen" (search) to open a dialogue box that lets you choose the images to attach; by clicking "more attachments", you may add up to 8 attachments in total. Finally, click on "post" and the images will be shown at the bottom of your finished posting.

EDIT: As you apparently have a "Photobucket" account, you should use the "Direct" address line found to the right of your image:
