Taking over the asylum
« on: June 18, 2008, 08:16:26 PM »

A variety of lunatics added to my Modern gallery: A news anchor, an ex-prime minister plus four more well-adjusted individuals. Enjoy!

I'm sure it's been stated elsewhere in here, but who makes the inmates?

Love the ex-PM. What was his name, "Joe Minor", or something like that.
I never realised Pudsey Bear was an offensive weapon, though  lol

Great paintwork!

Aragnor - True the EM4 models are more 90s 25mm - before we got all 'Heroic'!

But the newscaster and Joe Minor (like it!) are both EM4 - I just think Joe's pose make's him look especially small! :)

Thanks for all the comments!!

I think the ex PM is indeed a rather small and frail model (which fits him well), but in addition, the TV reporter is taller than most Copplestone models (and even on a thicker base in this case), making him look even smaller. Nice paintjob BTW, I love the uptight look on the reporter (I'm not sure though if it was intentional ;)).

Uti, btw: Which colours dif you use for the blond hair? Looks better than the yellow some people use... khaki and bone or something?

(I also have to tell you. that being 'uti' here on Funen in our local dialect means being 'wicked', 'out of line', something like that  ;)  )

Blondes are either;

Foundry Base Sand Shade with progressive white added

or

Vallejo Brown Sand, Iraqui Sand & Pale Sand highlight.

The origins of uti-long-smile stem from an old D&D game a friend ran, where the party thought we were playing cavemen only to discover that we were actually Gnolls. Ahhh halycon days!! :)
