hi folks, here are my latest efforts, ive used the new GW washes on them, i recommend them! very good indeed and so easy!

Got a question with the new washes.

Did you paint the armor silver and then use the wash or did you do some color of green and then apply the wash?

I really like the look of them.

Cleanly painted metallics are one of my greatest problems. You've resolved this in a great manner. I'd like to join Tri3 in asking for your 'washing method'. Hm, sounds odd. ;)

Wow! those Iron Giant robots fit in seamlessly with the Hydra models. That force looks awesome!

Oustanding work, they look fantastic  :-* :-* I have to second Marc's comments about the Iron Giant robots, they work really well with the Hydra models. And I'll third Tri3's request for a tutorial on using those washes.

thanks guys, the robots were all painted with valegio gunmetal blue, then i added chainmail to the mix drybrushing. once the gold was applied to them and dry for a few days, i just used the GW was 'badab black' straight from the pot!!
