Totally changed  the whole thing .
The walls instantly give narrative It looks like place rather than just a group of buildings.

No question  Bar raised.

Like Mark said, the walls add a whole new level to your table setup. Also, I like the temporary structures, makes for a 'lived in' look.
That said, splashes of colour here and there would be nice, like painted walls or different kinds of shingles. Greeks and Romans had a weak spot for garishly painted statues and some such. :D

i know that romans like flashy colors and are used to paint their statues....but i don't want to give a too much "roman" style to the buildings because i have planed to use some of them for other periods/areas   ;)

Just found that in a car boot sale for the harbour sector of the city :

a playmobil galley at the unbeatable price of..... 5 euros. Missing a lot of part but it' not a problem for me because i need only the shape to build mine  :D

Great finding Eric.

Could you please take a photo with a figure on the deck please?
I would love to have an idea of the size of the ship. :)

i have just to dismantle the ship. o_o o_o o_o o_o
i think it's the good size but i'll reduce the handrail 's size (or change it) and the mast 's size  ;). i have to clean up the deck too from the playmobil 's
i 'll post a comparison picture as soon as it's possible

 ;)
