Eric,
It'll be a useful and interesting addition.
I know your planning on building your own,and I'm all for it ,much more satisfying. No doubt your aware of them, but just in case your not. I've added pictures of the Sarissa cranes  . (£15,and £12.50) As sometimes a little extra expenses save the more valuable aspect of time.(It's how I prefer to work build everything I can ,and buy only when its going to save a shed load of time :D )

If nothing else they'll help you speed up a parts list.

Mark.

thank you Mark.

i knew them. They are great ones.

the most difficult to realise is the wheel and you can use that one if you are like me (more builder than buyer). ;) as a good start for the crane.

For the 28mm one, it'll cost you £5.00 from Blotz, available too in 15mm and 20mm scale.

 lol
I fully understand. I spend all day making models for other people. With three children at university, my personal project budget often stretches no further than cereal packet card.
I all honesty that's what I was planning to use for my dock front pieces.

I know that feeling - have been pruning the collection, partly to make some room in the man cave for new projects, and partly to pay for them...  :D

Hey guys,

After a long long long time without additions for this Project.
Here i'm back to present you my next terrain piece ; A slave jail made from nothing (as usual)...

From a little basket given by Pascal, one of my club's buddies, i have create a small jail/cage for my slave's market place.

1st : The scale comparison with the basket (turnupside down) and a slave worker

The WIP pictures will follow

Cheers
Eric

Well, the cage's top is cut (one third from the top) and glue to the middle level.
then i add some big matches to feature iron bars and make the basket more strong too  ;)

and a balsa door.
