Prison Break! Pulp Alley AAR
« on: February 28, 2014, 05:34:13 PM »
In my campaign, it is composed of 3 chapters, each chapter consisting of 4 or 5 scenarios with the last culminating the efforts of the teams.  Of course with the background of your typical Saturday afternoon matinee, the forces of good will be apparently thwarted many times.

Scenario modes I incorporated:
The set up had the warden: bribed to evacuate the staff

Prisoners were un armed and non combatants

The Cult leader had to be found by rolling a 1 on a D10 by cultists moving through the crowd after a 2 turn delay.

Stopping the Cult Leader was the Only Plot Point/Major in the scenario.

The Tunneler was programed to Blow UP 3 turns after Sister Painful made her escape.... such a callous disregard for her minions lives!!

The crew of the Tunneler were slightly better trained than those used in earlier scenarios.

So the Prison front gate and Yard beyond with prisoners milling about

The players pre scenario rolls added Fog!!!!  Limiting vision for spotting and shooting

The Event of the Scenario Breaks out of the earth:

Teams MIS and MS moved in on the one side of the tunneler and a battle for the Door Hatch ensued with vicious hand to hand fighting until Team MS said "Hey, there's another hatch on the other side!!!!!!

Prisoners in the yard went everywhere, taking cover in buildings. Sister Painful finally managed to get the attention of their imprisoned leader and tried to get him into his Rocket Pack to make his escape... which through a couple of turns finally managed to , while Sister Painful held off various agents with a barrage of sub machine gun fire!!

Cultist Leader making his get away. Followed moments later by Sister Painful and the Tunneler EXPLODING!!!  ..... shes just so callous about the lives of her minions!

What the players missed do to the fog, constant gun fire and explosions was that the Leader didn't land Outside of the prison walls, but instead linked up with a German zeppelin!!!  A leading clue for Chapter 2's direction!!!!!

I like the cool little special scenario rules you've added and your tunneler is awesome!  ;)

Started some Quonset Huts for an up coming episode (scenario)

This was a fast proof of concept build. Basing the outcome I built 2 larger ones with neater end pieces. Wetting the paper stock and Carefully wrapping it around a large cylinder worked to a point but I lacked rubber bands to secure it so I wrapped paper around it and then lightly wrapped the paper with some masking tape to hold the wet cardboard to the cylinder and help it dry.

NICE! I was thinking about using soup cans to make some huts.  ;D lol

Ive worked up 2 large huts, same technique, spritz sheet of corrugated scrapbook paper with water, lightly wrap around a large cylinder. Wrap with couple sheets of paper and circles of tape, also lightly applied, let dry. When dry, stand up on foam core to trace arc, cut, hot glue ends in.

I got the corrugated pieces for 50cents, so 2 huts for a dollar  ::), oh an flipped one of them upside down to show how the inside looks, figure demonstrates depth/height better.

Very nice.

I actually lucked into some quonset huts by accident! I was buying a Dust boxed set for the figures not realizing it also came with three pre-made huts.  lol

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.
