The inside of that mansion is superb.  :-*  How did you get such amazing detail into such a large game?

Um I was not there this time, but I do know some answers :D (because I attended previous games).

What rules did you guys use?
Rules on sea was ITAT a local rule of the club of Bordeaux.
Rules on land were devised by the organiser, who said it was a mixture of "Muskets and tomahawks" and "Argad !"

The inside of that mansion is superb.  :-*  How did you get such amazing detail into such a large game?
Players brought their terrain elements, houses, etc; and some of them had made many nice things since a few years they are playing this period.

Impressive to say the least....

Musket and Tomahawk seems to be a very versitile set of rules. At my gamling club they have been used for many different gamesettings, everything  from 17th century conflicts to 20th century Interwar conflicts.

Great looking battle. Inspired my group to break out a few ships last Saturday and enjoy a little pirate action ourselves.
