Not quite in keeping with the vehicular direction this thread has taken but in diy/tools section there's some epoxy resin that makes a decent puddle/ water feature. I've used it and well be buying more. Blue/yellow packet with Tommy? Walsh on it.

For those who play 18th C or Pirates, IKEA have these reduced to £2.

I bought two......

Found a few things at Woolworth.

Submarine for 3€...;)

And a few cool cars...

The little uboat had an upper and lower part. So pretty easy to do waterline model from it.

After that I sealed all the holes with greenstuff and plasticcard.

And splashed some piant on it....:)

Rust effect is not too solid....but you get the idea...

Cheers,
Don

Cool bananas - my toddler has that exact same submarine bath toy! (it's also a great water scoop for rinsing the little tyke)

There the same type that I've found in Poundland in the past -a series of "Russian" diecasts they size up pretty well in my view

That submarine is great. Shame Woolworths in the UK fell to the 'financial crisis'
