May have been mentioned already. Star Wars vessels in blister packs in Poundland. Not consistent scale, and I suspect they would not be compatible with X-Wing, but good candidates for the likes of BFG with a repaint or as conversion material.

Not quite poundland, but in a few of the local K-Marts that are closing down, they've got some of the Nintendo Microland playsets for some pretty hefty discounts.

The tiles all of them use could be useful for some play on their own if you would get enough of them, though they wouldn't fit based minis in the stuff that has interiors, but they are on a 1" grid with each tile being 2"x2" and interlock rather well. The terrain stuff on them are interesting and could even be popped off for use elsewhere.

But the interesting thing is that with, at least, the Legend of Zelda ones, the windwaker characters are the right size and proportions that you could use them as pretty well done, prepainted gnomes or halflings...or kids if you want to go that route.

Sure, they might be a bit cartoony, but they might be worth it if you don't mind that or just like the aesthetics of them...the size comparison is Tetra standing on a Reaper 1" round base with "Erick, Paladin Initiate (Bones)" by Reaper (77197) on the same size base

Poundland has Star Wars Biros. The pen topper is (supposed to be) a light sabre, but would make a good bit of machinery in 28mm, they are about an inch & a quarter tall (30mm).

They come in pairs for, guess what? that's right a pound, i.e. 50p each.
My wife is always looking for cheap pens, so now she has six & I have some Sci-fi scenery (at least when I have based & painted them)

Found in Home Bargains (UK) today, wee vehicles for the Skylanders video game.

They have a lovely spacey, pulpy look to them, and with the right paintjob could make some nifty one-man fighter or scout ships.

I picked up the Sky Slicer, Sea Shadow and Dive Bomber models for £2.99 each. Pictures below of them in packaging if anyone is minded to look for them, and also with a Crossover Miniatures not-Green Lantern for scale.

Cheers
JB

Poundland in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire has Matchbox Starwars models for sale for just £1.00 each.

I saw Tie Fighters and X Wing fighters on the shelves.

Darn, they weren't there last time I looked..... They aren't in Cheltenham, anyway....

Forgot to check how much there were, but Tesco have some halloween animal skeletons.

They're pretty much 1:1, so the dog and cat are kind of big and creepy. However, the mouse/rat could be useful as a giant undead creature.

I had a look at Poundland's halloween selection as well, but there wasn't much of interest this year :-[

Went to Homebargains today and found this.

For £2.99 you get 12 cacti , 6 are 5 1/2cm tall the other 6 are 4cm. They come out of the bowl very easily.
The figure put there for scale is a Zombicide zombie.

A recent visit to Lidl (UK) and I saw the Parkside Hot Glue Gun for just £7.99.

But is was while browsing the offer leaflet that my interest was tweeked.

On page 18 and available from Thursday 16th November they have a 3D Pen for £19.99

Rather than try to explain the principal here is a link to the official Lidl site;
https://www.lidl.co.uk/en/Non-Food-Offers.htm?articleId=8133

I'm not sure, but could this be used to fill Milliput moulds and make copies?

I hope you find this of interest.

Tiger uk have die cast cars for £1 and a model solar system kit with textured planets .
The planets are in two halves so if you use each half on its own you get 16 planets for battlefleet gothic or similar.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.
