Picked up a box of "Domino Topple" from Poundland. About 45 Red, Yellow and Blue oblongs.

Just to see wat could be done with them? Then it hit me!

They have a raised edge rim and are 1" by just over 1/2" which could be a window frame!?

So I will stick some of them onto kitbash buildings as one-pane windows! 28mm scale-ish? Yay!!

Dare say there are other uses as well for them.  o_o

The Works has some 1:43 diecast metal cars at the moment for £2.00 each. Bit large, but not glaringly so.

As with some of their other stuff, it looks like they were part of a magazine subscription at some point.

Picked up a couple of Range Rovers and an Infiniti FX. They have some sports type cars as well, but I was looking for more general street furniture for post apoc scenery.

The Works has a wooden "bottle top balance" type game.
A small (solid) wooden bottle and 100 35mm wooden discs for £5.
Interestingly the discs appear to be wood not mdf.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

That's a great idea! 8) Consider it stolen! ;) You could raise it off of the ground as well.

has.been  da dum tish!

Here's another smaller pill sorter that probably works better with moderns.  The container/tanks/storage thingies probably work better for scifi too, and they only technically come from dollar/pound stores.  Bottlecaps, though if you're gonna be buying fizzy beverages anyway...  Lou-Anne modeling everything for scale.

There are set of three plastic police cars and three police flat bed trucks in poundland at the moment. They're identical and the usual quality, but look to be 28mm scale

They are pretty close to 28mm, I picked up a bunch. Comparison mini is a Heresy Miniatures trenchcoat ganger
