Those police vehicles are definitely useful. I've used them for sci fi games, making a generic truck and a transport for my genestealer cult. In addition, I've used the flashing beacons to decorate entry controls on some hab units.

They are also great for rusty old wrecks (you can just make out such a car in the background).

Another one for the works.  Wagon wheels.

Here compared to Sarrisa wagon wheels.

Resin roses to go with the recent crops thread.

They also had some hand punches.  I picked up a nice square panel shaped one.

Hope that helps.

Plastic articulated dragons at £2 each in The Works - I saw them in the Crawley branch in the UK. Not as good as metal models as you would expect, but I'm sure some people would be happy to use them as is for RPGs, or hide the articulation with filler and repaint them. They could make a good statue painted grey. You could get 2 of them and paint one grey and sit it on a plinth, then replace it with the coloured one when when it is reanimated by a wizard or a ward. They are around 12-15 cms high from memory, and there are a number of different types. Worth a look.

I found a topiary ball in a local discount store for £5 which has loads of plastic leaves you can detach and use for foliage.

The picture has a 15mm figure to show scale.

A bit more about it on my blog - http://www.sologamer.co.uk/topiary-ball-foliage/

Poundland have some similar, but slightly smaller.
Also Home Bargains had 3 or 4 different styles last time I was in, including some very SF looking purple ones and some with flowers.
Poundstretcher have some too, at about £2 - £3.

Best of all, most places that I've been in there are loose bits that have dropped off and are just scattered across the floor/shelf. So if you tidy up all the loose bits when you pick a ball you could get extra foliage.

Lol. That's exactly what I did. I swept up the loose ones and stuffed them inside the one I bought.

It was even better when they had them in Aldi - they had really large ones but they were stacked in a large basket so they shed pieces quite profusely, which mostly dropped through the bottom of the basket onto the floor.
It is only fair to help the shop staff by picking up the loose bits which otherwise constitute a slip hazard. :~}

I found this yesterday in my local B&M. £2.99 in their Halloween section (yes, I know spiders do not have skeletons but this looks cool!)

Shown with a 28mm Gripping Beast figure for scale.

Found this in a local non chain discount store.  The 'kits' are in a 'super deformed ' style and aren't much use. However if you're making post apocalyptic vehicles in a Hot Wheels scale they have about 15 useful bits and 32 spare wheels . You also get eight small Philips screwdrivers !

Lastly here's a close up of the T34 for the eagled eyed amongst you.

Was in Aldi this morning and found a cheap paper table cloth in their holiday stuff. It's textured and about 7,5 ' by 4,5 ' . Would work ok for desert or beach terrain

Has a plastic backing and looks pretty durable. Not if you plan to game all your little wars on desert terrain, but for someone like me who just uses it once in a while it is good enough. Cost me 4 €.
