Rumble in the jungle
« on: March 09, 2014, 09:12:44 AM »
I've just finished sculpting a young Tarzan. He's 29mm to the eye. I'm planning to sculpt some of his friends, foes as well as a few animals.

Very nice work, will you be selling these or are they just for personal use?

Thanks for the nice feedback. These are really for my personal use but if there were sufficient demand for a particular figure, I wouldn't mind having a small series produced.

Today, I made some progress on a Matchbox die-cast Crossley tender. There's still a lot to do but does anyone have a suggestion where I could find some better wheels for it; the original Matchbox wheels aren't great.

A rather fine sculpt. I look forward to pics of the finished Crossley.

Looks great!

I'd love some wheel suggestions too, as I'd love to get some matchbox-scale spare tires.

Thanks for the comments. The Crossley is on hold at the moment but I spent some time on the Tarzan sculpt, cleaning up the miniature and resculpting some details I didn't like. There are still some imperfections I could fix but I feel he's getting there. I'm unsure whether I should paint him up or consider having him cast. C&C most welcome.
