That's a seriously impressive update!

I love that you're so dedicated to 'doing it right' by commissioning an oil painting in the style that suits the miniatures perfectly. Frazetta would be proud of you I think!

Thank you!

Sometimes I worry that my preferred styles for things are woefully outdated, so it's good to know that at least a few other people like it as much as I do!

Nonsense! Carefully crafted and well-done never go out of style!

Couple of things - first up, Pennyfew Painting is working on putting some paint on my mummies.

The figures in this set are some of my more unusual figures. Sculpted by Tyson Rhody, this is a true 25mm scale sculpt. It matches well with old school Cthulhu ranges such as Grenadier or RAFM, but it's a little small next to most modern ranges or almost everything else in my range.

At the time I had a slightly different idea for the direction I wanted to go with my Azor stuff - the four possessed mummies were incubating slug-like parasites in a symbiotic relationship with a species of plant, 'The Corpse Root', that animates corpses & uses them to spread the seed/egg sacs of the slugs & plants. I think I may have been inspired somewhat by 'Khai of Khem' by Brian Lumley, and also the desire to have some weird Mythos-style mummies around.  Since then my plans and releases have been a little more grounded, the possessed mummies are a little too far off from what I envision for Azor at this time.  But, who knows, I might revisit them again someday, have them resculpted a little larger or with some slight differences or something.

I've kinda dropped the idea for now, but I'm still quite fond of the sculpts, and I thought that Pennyfew's style was a perfect fit. There are three more in the set, painted pics of them coming soon!

And secondly, I have some resin master castings of the Queen and Princess on foot for sale.

Nine of each.

That's it for now - they'll see a regular release in metal this fall some time via Kickstarter, so if you want a resin copy, or if you don't want to wait eight months to get one, send me an email at Alxbates@yahoo.com.

Please don't PM me about it, send an email.

They're $20 each, and when they're gone, they're gone forever.  The molds are worn out, and these figures won't be cast in resin again.  First come, first serve.

Fenris Games in the UK has five of each (I think, I'm not sure exactly how many he has left at the time of this writing), so, if you're not in the US and want to avoid paying international shipping, contact Ian there, he'll be happy to sell them to you.

(And just so you don't have to scroll back who knows how many pages, here are the original sculpts to refresh your memory on what they look like:)

I haven't posted these to Facebook or any other pages yet (I will later this weekend).  I wanted to give the LAF the first chance to snag them, since the community here has been so supportive and encouraging.  I very nearly quit and shut things down a few months ago; the kind words and comments here have always been a big boost for me when I've needed one.

Thank you all for your support, hopefully this coming year brings bigger and better things!
