I've got one of each left of the Queen and Princess on foot!

Thanks to everyone for the orders - this allows me to defray the sculpting and mold making costs a lot earlier than I'd be able to otherwise.

I'm a one-man amateur operation, so every bit helps.

You're far from amateur.

What's the latest date on the Kickstarter? I understand there's a few things you have to work out (I just want to make sure I don't miss an opportunity).

Well, thanks.  I definitely know more now than I did when I first started, but I see all the other cool stuff out there and I certainly *feel* like an amateur.  I'm still slowly plugging away at getting a website working... once that's finally finished and up and running, I'm sure I'll feel a lot more like a real business!

I'm hoping to launch the Eye of the Cyclops Kickstarter in a few weeks, maybe mid-March.

Here's a peek at the cover art with the logo and colors roughed in with photoshop.

The logo will be aged a bit to match the oil painting once the art is finished.  I'll stress that this is just a color test, the actual piece of art is a physical painting being painted by an artist in France.  If things work out with him, I hope to have him do at least two or three other paintings for me.  I might even put a little logo in the corner, like the old Savage Sword of Conan magazines that I used to love so much.

The painting is on track to be done in a couple of weeks, I expect to launch the KS within a week or two of it being finished.

I'll be posting updates here, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, a couple of other forums (TMP for sure, maybe Frothers and TWW).  Hopefully that'll get the word out!  Once it launches, you can help by sharing links to it on your own various media pages.  If this one goes well, it'll make the royal court set happen more quickly, and then on to the projects I have planned after that!

Andrew Taylor and Pennyfew Painting are working on some non-Kickstarter stuff for me:

The critter swarm is finished - and available for sale now for $7 for the set - they're all individual pieces, but, since I'm selling them as a set I asked Andy to put them all on the same base.

Swamp scorpion - multipart metal model:

An Okros faun!

And the full set of tentacled mummies!

Grab sooner rather than later - I'm going to have to raise some of my prices fairly soon (I probably should have last November...)!

To be honest, I am waiting for the the Queen and Princess to be available as both throne and foot in metal, and I will likely be all over a fair sized order. Gotta add to the pile.

Oh man!

We're getting close!

I think I might be able to launch the new Kickstarter next week - I just have a handful of ducks left to get in a row.  I fly out to Gary Con ten in the middle of next week... I'm not sure if it'll be better to launch the KS before I leave so I can promote it all weekend at the con, or, if I'm better off waiting till I get home so I can administrate it a little more easily.

Also, here's a look a the metal Sirrush - it's $70, but it's a pound of metal.

I have six of them left - I can have more made fairly easily, but, since it's so heavy and pricey to make, I'm only going to run small batches.  If you like old school metal critters, this is the beast for you!
