That is great news! The Histathi (???) look so primal without any other adornments except that big *#$@ off spear. Very old school.  :)

Are you planning some action oriented poses with the rest of the tribe? Any other weaponry other than spears? And what about a shaman or leader type? Although the lizard King would suffice nicely.

Really very impressed with all this stuff.

It's "Histath", both singular and plural.  One Histath, two Histath, many Histath.  The ape-man just call them "Iz-ta", and some humans & giants mispronounce it as "Hista", but it's "Histath.  The digraph "th" at the end of the word is properly pronounced as a simple exhalation, but "HISS-toth" is considered acceptable.

...I promise that I'll keep that sort of grammatical stuff to an absolute minimum when it comes time to get the rulebook together...

Some action poses will definitely be coming.  Spears are their primary weapons - some relatively short stabbing spears like this, some long African Assegai-type lances, as well.  Leaders & chiefs are definitely in order (Des Hanley has done some wonderful design artwork for them!), although most likely not any shaman or mage-types - most Histath are utterly without superstition, and they generally don't have much in the way of emotions or personal ego, either (they do have a certain racial pride and confidence in their own superiority, though).  They are free-willed intelligent beings, and while one can make general assertions about the natural inclinations of the varied species of sentient races, there are of course exceptions to the rule.  The Histath are more uniform than humans, but they do have their occasional individual tyrants, artists and eccentrics.

Most excellent! Glad I asked!

Sounds like you've given this a good bit of thought!  lol

Hi, do you have a list of all of the miniatures which you sell anywhere?  I think your facebook page is not working.  https://www.facebook.com/ForgeOfIce

I'm not sure what's going on there - that link works fine for me.  Here it is again, copied and pasted from my browser:

https://www.facebook.com/ForgeOfIce

But, if you can't find it (if you're logged on Facebook & cant get the link to work, typing "Forge of Ice" into the navigation bar should get you there), I do also have a product and price list posted here to the LAF:

Hope that helps!

Lovely. This range really is getting a lot of depth with each release / paint job.

Wulfgar - those look great all together like that!  Thanks for sharing the pic!

I've thought about buying that same snake statue and bonsai trees to use as terrain pieces, too - it seems that we have similar tastes!

Shooting for July.

I've been dragging my feet on it for over a year - I want to be absolutely, positively sure that I have all my ducks in a row before I start it.  I've been burned twice by Kickstarters that have failed, and been quite happy with about a dozen others that I've supported.  This will be my first foray into crowd funding, and so I'd rather over-prepare and start a little late than rush in when I'm not ready.

I'm probably overthinking it.

I love every bit I'm seeing here.  :-*

Your stuff will be high on my priority list when choosing what to buy for new Pulp Alley leagues and Strange Aeons/VuK.  ;D

Somewhen after the summer holidays, judging from my current backlog of WIP projects  lol
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
