MBA made this boat...

They also make a handful of other small boats and a BIG Colonial Riverboat.

Do you have a link to their site Dave?   ???

UPDATE: It's ok I found it.  ;)

On The front page of TMP today is an advert by MBA listing items they have on sale at the moment, including their colonial river boat.

Hi, this is my first post.

Here's my scratchbuilt Steamboat based of Gary Chalk's model (an old plan edited in Wargames Illustrated).
It's just a little bit longer than the original plan.

Tufoo, that's a great steamboat. Some very nicely painted figures on it too.

LOVE the tugboat Hammers!!  I NEVER "tyre" of seeing your brilliant boats!!

I am staggered by your scratchbuilding skills, completely absent in my work.

Conversions I can only just barely manage to struggle through, but to start from NUTHIN', & fabricate from whole cloth, I'm mesmerized, completely awestruck, & not a little envious.

All I care about is the HULL.

How long would she be in "real" 28mm life?  The cut of her bow, has she enough beam, a pleasing stern,
what manner of vessel does she want to become?

I use hulls where I find 'em, cut to waterline, discard the outa scale bits, then build back up to, now, 28mm "scale", 1/48-1/52-1/54ish  seems to work best to my eye.  Nowhere near your results though...

As we move towards summer now is time to keep an open for cheap children's toys for the next project:

AND check this link:http://www.round2models.com/models/lindberg

LOTS of cheap plastic hulls begging to be cut & chopped & converted to Pulp vessels of all kinds!!

WOW  :o
What a great build!
I am going to have to build one of these soon!

Hammers,
I had been wondering about that launch, thank you for the pics confirming its gaming usability.
That tug is nice, why not waterline it for gaming though?
Great barge! One of those is on my to build short list as it looks so useful for so many games.

Valerik, Yes tis the season to hunt for water toys!  ;)

Hammers, that is a fantastic collection of aquatic delights. I love the river steamer.

May I draw everybody's attention to Amalric's junk? A perfectly innocent statement where I live but it could be misconstrued elsewhere I believe!

This is a superb junk.....

She is, she's just a bit high in the water.

Michi,
I should have added a link to Doreen as well, when I first saw your Doreen thread, I thought they were photos of a real ship!

Indeed. A dedicated page/section for all things maritime (Pulp and otherwise) would be very nice.  8)
