the rebel side attack didn't result as they expected. The Imperials sustained fire with minimal casualties, even with a hidden rebel Atgar 1.4 firing upon.
WOW.

The Imperial Probe Droid was detecting some of the rebels units, forcing them to  reveal their position,  The rebel skiff had to move away from an extremely resistant probe droid!.

The imperials reinforcements entered in the battlefield in order to provide support to the imperial Army squad, which were resisting a high amount of blaster fire!.

A couple of speeder bikes, part of the imperial fast reinforcements, found some point-break fire from a hidden heavy weapons rebel squad

We must say that Criamon hidden units reflected a bright strategic sequence, forcing imps  to combat, almost unit by unit, just to find another hidden surprise.  This unit of hoth rebels fought against the imperial speeder bikes , destroying the two of them.

2nd. Last moments of the imperial speeder bike, found in a crossing fire between the rebel hoth troopers and the rebel skiff.

Last. The In Memoriam pic of the Imperial Chariot crew. Missing on Duty, presumably killed or abducted by the rebel scum. Last reports informed that several hits had damaged the vehicle ata the point of breaking its move capacity.

Thax again to CRIAMON, VICTOR, LEWIS CURRO for being such a good players - and fotographers!!-

Cheers, gents!

Re: A Star Wars Miniatures Battles Project: new Modular board: CLOUD CITY
« Reply #110 on: December 23, 2015, 04:42:01 PM »
It's been a while since i'd wondered i needed an urban board. I was really interested on using catwalks and platforms. in such way, i needed to give the board different depths.
Given that my free time just allow me to keep painting and gaming  with my WEG SWMB, the election was something that could represent any advanced city or urban planet. When i had the concept i realized that a wheathered  colour scheme -( appropiate for planets like Nal Hutta) would'nt differe from the usual infinity boards. I needed something different.
So i chose white/pearl schematics , and remembered that there are NO COOLER place  in the whole galaxy to visit than a floating city.

some general view. In total : four 60x60 boards, mixing platform zones with catwalks connecting different buildings.

Wonderful work!

Most of the MDF terrain is by Warmill, right? Minus that refuse burning station (I have one like that but can't remember the name of the maker).
