Jareest is a planet with 80% water surface and dotted with archipelagos, it has a high concentration of metals and minerals useful for the manufacture of space components, fundamental for the construction of space cruisers in a period of war.

The Empire installed several processing refineries to meet the needs of its war machine, which has led to the Rebel Alliance having been boycotting Jareest's supply and distribution lines, stealing shipments of precious ore, processed metals and sabotaging important industrial enclaves.
In response, the Imperial governor has imposed harsh punishments on slaves such as restrictions on rations, increases in work shifts and toughened dealings with labor.
The growing discontent of the population and above all of the workers, has made it possible for the Alliance to create a rising in the shadows to be something more than a nuisance to the Empire, it is time to hit hard and where it hurts most, during the last weeks it has been sending shipments of military material to support the insurgent movement which, through relentless guerrilla warfare, strikes the Imperial organism. The time for the rebellious uprising in Jareest has arrived.

During the uprising, the Imperial Governor is surprised while making a journey through the city, the vehicle in which he is traveling has been hit by a projectile of the insurgents very close to the market of the old city. The occupants are undamaged, however, the vehicle is immobilized right in an area where their rescue can be very laborious and in the middle of the rebellious hornets' nest. With the general chaos, the imperial troops are scattered trying to crush the uprising, are already numerous open foci, the revolt grows at times and the reinforcements that have requested, will take in coming.

Who would have thought that it would be the slaves who would initiate so much violence?
While the insurgents are swirling around the vehicle, the governor again asks nervous staff for his rescue, time runs against him and the crowd is very angry.

in this scenario, Imperial forces have to recover the stranded governor from the siege made by the Quarren slaves, in addition, as a partial victory they have to destroy the Governor's Chariot and prevent the Rebels further use of imperial property.

The Imperial recovery party is formed by two speedeer bikes, for fast response, a sandtrooper squad, an imperial army squad, a Shoretrooper squad, one At-St forheavy support, and a huge Floating Fortress, for carrying back the governor, safe from harm.

On the other hand, Rebel forces deployed on the planet to support the uprisal were two squads of Mon Cals, one standard squad, and the other equipped with combat armor, and two Freerunners for heavy support. There were many Quarren insurgentssieging the imperial governor, hidden in the closest buildings around the market, where the governor's speeder suffered the first attack. The rebels need to capture the governor and bring back him to a rally point.

The imps began moving the huge monster in order to handle the recovery the fastest they could. Thus, the armoured monster lead the way and the troops followed, ready to fire among the hidden insurgents.

The rebels acted as expected, they engaged the trap, and some Quarren insurgents appeared over a rooftop to fire against the Fortress, which standed pretty well against some CSPL missiles.

The rebels moved on of their Freerunner trying to couterfeit the Imps fast move, and there were cross fire among the vehicles!

The Fortress stood very well, and the freerunner looses one gunner!
On the other main street, the AT-ST gave support to the imperial troops movements

Meanwhile, the rebel troops arrived to the beach, enclosing the siege to the stranded Governor, surrounded between the Quarren insurgents, hidden among the buildings, and the Calamari troops deployed on the coast

Round Two.

As the Quarren insurgents went down their positions on the rooftops in order to fix some hand-made explosives at the Fortress right side, the imps realised they were being fooled into a trap, enclosed by the city configuration and foot troops that could endanger their hull integrity!!

In an unexpected movement, Imp players decided to ram the rebel freerunner with their Fortress, confident with their armour thickness!!!!!!!!

The rebel freerunner could barely stand the ramming!!

As a resulting of the crash, the Fortress lost control, and went out of control accelerating and turning on its left side,  turning few meters aways from the Governor!!!

On the other avenue, the other Rebel freerunner manage to pierce the AT-St Hull, rolling for a critical hit, re-rolling a couple of 6 in the dice, our AT-ST dropped dead!!!!

While trying to regain control of the fortress the imperial gunners managed to finally destroying the Freerunner, killing all the gunners.
Once regained the control of the behemoth, the needed still to deaccelerate and deploy the Shoretroopers squad carried in its belly!

On the other hand, the rebel troops were merely 15'' away from the imperial governor!

by risking our own troops, the imperial players decided dropping their troops, while deccelerating the fortress, luckily we were at the best place at the rightest moment!

by the moment the rebels engaged blasted fire among the surviving Governor's speeder crew, our troops were near enough for give some blaster support!

But, with the At-St downed, our only hope was put in the fortress, which needed to move backwards and take the right path back to our rally point, while our troops were tryin to escort the governor out of the Mon cals clutches !!

the Quarren insurgent were dropping blaster fire and CSPL missiles on our troops, which were standing bravely the attack, whilewe repositioned the Fortress at range for the recovery. by the moment the brave Governor's speeeder crew gave their lives, the shoretroopers escorted in a fast action, the governor into the Fortress belly!.

the scouting bikes spit some death among the Mon cals, while the surviving freerunner wasn't on position for firing among the fortress.
We ended the game as a partial victory for the Imps, havng the governor inside the beast's belly.

In this game we tried to get more used on SWMB vehicles' rules. It was a thrilling scenario, fuill of action, crossed blaster fire, and the hurry for escorting/taking prisoner the Governor.  I think both sides lost half their forces, perhaps the imps seemed to be better equipped, but their forces were less, and the rebels were heavily armed with several CSPL's ( 4 squads)

We hope you like it!

P.D. Now i realize i do'nt have any need of a game  miscalled Legion :P xD xD xD
Best wishes Folks!

Hi aliensurfer!
Yes they are. At the original SWMB game the moncals were the only rebel troops allowed to carry combat armor, and i always wanted to improve my Mon cals to match another combat envrironments other than a rebel cruiser.
The original bodies are Ventaurans from Denizen ;)
Cheers!
