Area 42 - a quick pulp/modern/post apoc warehouse
« on: March 17, 2014, 05:58:42 PM »
In between finishing the LPL teams, I decided to build some very simple but hopefully versatile terrain. I intend tot use this piece in pulp, modern and post apoc gaming.

I started of with two Subbuteo goals I glued together. I added some foamboard to the small sides in order to create a flush surface.

After that just sticking some pieces of corrugated cardboard all over the structure, adding a base and after  a quick paintjob with some attempts at weathering, I got the following result:

The doors are a simple cardboard frame with a piece of relief wallpaper glued in.

All in all a very simple and quick build and an excellent use for Subbuteo goals !

I'm quite pleased with the result and hope this might inspire some more talented terrain builders.
I like my games like my orange juice: pulpy with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners

That looks great. How do you paint weathering to make it look like rusted metal. I would really like some details on that to help me get the same effect. Thanks in advance.

I really like the look of the building.
Looks to be a knocked up in a hurry.
Thanks for sharing.
