actually I personally would welcome any affordable plastic sprue with a good variation of 28mm pottery. Apart from the barrels (here the renedra ones aren't very convincing either), there isn't anything more ubiquitous than jugs...
I think now I have to say: "I'll get my coat"

As to opinions on the building. I like it. I also like the renedra barrels + gabbions. But the world takes a lot of different tastes. Not worried. Each to their own.
Hope the pictures are of some entertainment...please feel free to resurrect the warlord threads...it would be quite funny.
Have a great weekend.

Thankyou gentlemen.
Mostly all my scratch builds are made from foam board and bits. The roman bridge from a popular high street chain's coffee stirrers ;)
So...my last thought would be, considering the forums positive response to my model building skills, that this kit from Renedra does have a place in the choices to liven up a table. I found it to be a very useful addition. It would deliver even more satisfaction to a gamer with less scratch model building capacity. It's definitely worth considering if you are after an easy to build and versatile building of this type.
Thanks again for the positive feedback on my pictures folks.

Hey Carvel,

Welcome aboard and it is nice to see the progress on your fort...looking brilliant. I am quite surprised about the 'not very positive' comments, as I came here when the Warlord forum got a bit ridiculous, oh and I found more and more I didn't like their products that much...

Hopefully you will drop in again,

Westwaller.

Hello to Mikeland too. :)

Well I had a look at the Renedra/Perry adobe at Salute yesterday, and I would say it is a very nice model indeed, offering quite a bit of flexibility, and surprisingly chunky looking.
I was sceptical about this product, given the wide range of 28mm adobe buildings already available in resin, but having seen it in the flesh, if I was buying adobes now (I'm not, I already have about two dozen) I wouldn't hesitate to add a few of these.
£16 each. Multi-buy deals available.
The equivalent resin adobe house from Grand Manner is £30.

interesting...
there is this guy on ebay who sells ready painted middleeastern buildings
for up to 16£ per piece  doesn't look like he's selling off his collection...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/tinned-fruit/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
or the miniature building authority, with Grand Manner prices but for painted buildings...
http://www.miniaturebuildingauthority.com/products.asp?cat=25mm+Middle+Eastern+Series&pg=2
or this ebay-seller, ready painted too, but larger compounds
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Table-Top-Historical-/123860/m.html?item=321377210793&hash=item4ad39311a9&pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&_ssn=tinned-pears&_dcat=123860&Options=28mm&rt=nc

Grand Manner is of course the top of the resin price list....
I still do not think the Renedra kit is worth it's price on the market, even if it looks good
