Probably the most feared unit in the entire Solar System the "Ghost Troopers" of the Earth Security Force are highly skilled special operations jump troopers and the only living members of the ESF. Like everything else associated with the Earth the origins of the Ghost Troopers is a highly guarded secret. Some speculate that they are all clones or highly advanced androids and it is almost certain that they are cybernetically and or genetically enhanced. Each trooper wears a holographic suit and a helmet armed with a pair of mandible blasters for close combat. Regular troopers carry a light rail gun and each squad is supported by a trooper armed with an advanced scatter laser. Each trooper is also equipped with a jet pack and are trained to be experts in their use.

I kitbashed the troopers from older Games Workshop Dark Eldar plastic models by cutting down their "Spikey Bits" and adding heads from Pig Iron Productions. Their jet packs are scratch built from the ends of zip ties.

I'll see what I can do. Trying to get things set up this week to shoot a bunch of my Solar Empires stuff. The paint jobs are nothing special.

Great work! I think the color scheme you chose works well with your fluff.
Zip ties are great for scratch building and converting.

The conversions are nice, but I hate DE sculpts/minis sooooo much that I can't drag my enthusiasm any higher.

I think they fit the bill though, and you did a good job making some awful minis suitably less-awful.

Nice idea. I'd prefer more terran looking weapons but get the whole spec ops in space vibe.

I bet nvg green and red ols would look awesome too.
