United nations Uruguay peacekeepers.
« on: April 18, 2014, 08:16:17 PM »
Hi Folks

For a modern day Imagi-Nation project that I am doing with my brother, I decided that I would do a force of UN peacekeepers. I decided to use troops from Uruguay, after seeing a documentary on the war in the congo.

Finding that no one did any modern 28mm Uruguayan's (No great surprise.) I decided to copy an idea from Rob_bresnen hotel Zugando. As an SLR looks close enough to an FN FAL, I picked up some assault group Anzac from Vietnam range and combined with some west wind production german heads and a bit of green stuff and the result are.

There should be more soon. Let me know what you think.

I like it! (but then I would!)

I am glad you liked my idea, and I think you have done a good job with it. It doesn't look like a conversion, which is always a good sign.

Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

A nice touch for Uruguayans would be to paint the words 'Fray Bentos' under each base. ;)

E agora seu povo

What nation will they be keeping the peace of?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I know what Imagi-Nation is...but I got the image of you trying to cram miniatures into your brother's ear...that Chaffee might hurt...
