Thanks a lot. I'm rather liking my Vallejo 'German Infantry Paint Set'...

I suspect he means these:

https://www.ciboslittledudes.com/collections/modern-nigeria-nigerian-forces.

Given the sculpting quality and the errors in detail, some quite glaring, I'm not sure I would bother myself. They don't appear as if they would readily match the Eureka and Empress figures.

Yup, I've seen those as well. The same basic (slightly odd) legs/torso across all the 'bush wars' ranges, with just slight detail changes.

Had a go at trying to make some 28mm Empress NVA look like RhSAS;

They look tacti-cool. Does the NVA come with the backpacks or did you add those? Gives an impression of them carrying important kit about.

Some of the NVA minis have back packs, seems to have been a fairly widely used design/style for the time period, so works well with a lot of armies.
The running figure with the RPG had an extra ammo backpack which I removed and swapped for a more Rhodesian looking piece of kit. Also chopped off the chi-com grenade pouches and added ammo and canteen pouches, then adjusted the bottom of the trousers and footware. Didn't have any suitable heads for swaps so went with the cam-cream look...

These are from Empress 'US Vietnam' packs NVA8 & NVA10.

Thank you for the detailed description of how you achieved the look of the miniatures!  :D
But yeah, agreeing with Empress here, they look superb!
