I am a lot older, obviously, as our Army Cadet Force (UK)
used Martin-Henry rifles on the firing range.

I thought you were older than that Pete, as you told me your army cadet force, formed pike blocks...

Out of new stuff so revisited these; added some shading and highlights. Also painted the HMG tri-pod which I'd missed.

If your bored and want to add some more to this project. Might I suggest some M56 helmets. Donated by their brother in the DDR? https://www.shapeways.com/product/E5TMV78NB/28mm-m-56-ddr-helmets  lol

Funnily enough a lot of the 20mm figures came with helmets, but then they are suppossed to be Angolan, whereas the 28mm are ZANLA/ZIPRA & I just painted them as FAPLA. Could have done some head swaps with the Eureka Mech Russian figures, they have nice helmets, I just prefered the African faced sculpts.
