My pleasure. Yes, I've seen that documentary, very well done and very accurate as far as I can tell. 

It's bizarre, in Brazil they have streets, squares, public buildings etc still named for members of the ditadura, Geisel, Castelo Branco etc. I have thought about writing to the papers, the federal and various state and municipal governments to have somewhere named for Maia or the date itself. After all, this year is the 40th anniversary of the end of the dictatorship in Portugal but also the 50th of the commencement of the one in Brazil and both are part of the Lusophony.

A very memorable day... I was on the SS Uganda due to visit Lisbon on 25th April 1974. In the event we never got to go and I think we ended up in Vigo instead.

I dunno, looks like an AML-60 or -90 to me. The one behind the AML could be a Chaimite, though. It looks like a (licensed?) version of the Cadillac Gage Commando family's design.

Yes... old style AML 60 or 90 behind a Chaimite. The third post pic is the side view of a Chaimite. The Chaimite differs from the Commando mostly at the rear, but are otherwise difficult to tell apart.
