Well, Doug was interested and agreed that the battlebook could use an overhaul. He also said that he defenitly wanted to keep it as a free download. Which is great!
I'm stating my changes over here now, because if there is more that needs to be changed I'd like to do it before finalising the layout
So if there are any idead sbout what needs the be done, please let me know
For the moment I changed the following
1) There is a Table of Contents
2) I split up the rules and campaing sections
3) I removed the Force lists for a 2nd book in which the force lists and scenarios from the Combat Zone Chronicles will be collected
4) I added a rule for gaining Experience points (which strangly was missing) (2 EP if you win a battle and +1EP for every 5 man of the opposing force down at the end of the game)
5) I made a summarry sheet in the end with all point values and a summary sheet with the campaign rules
6) Since the rewrite was in the first instance meant for our own group, still some house rules are in there, these need to be removed (unless people generally see them as a good idea)

Our other additions were Snipers and Solos
You can make a model a sniper for 15 pts, after that he is a unit on his own, does not generate initiative, has +1 to hit when shooting and +1 Toughness if in cover.
Solos are basically models that for 15 pts get all the rules that a Gang leader also has and also walk around alone.
