Your BEAUTIFULLY painted & based little groups of minis are done in a style the I find very attractive. GREAT WORK!

Thank you.

I have for many years used various washes of ink - over my painting - it adds shading & picks out detail (and, most importantly, hides a multitude of sins)

I like 'dirty' looking figures - its not to everyones taste but its a style that I'm happy with for speed & 'look'

Cheers

Wowie that's a nice army!! :o

Few questions:
Will you painting the fish on the big shield of the Tully boltthrower?
Do you have a Thoros of Myr miniature?
Where is the Direwolf from?

Hi,

I will be painting a fish on the shield at some point - when I pluck up the courage to have another go. I did paint one initially but it looked awful, so I stripped it off.

I haven't got Thoros figure - I have never found one which has the feel for him or is the right size. My GoT collection is largely done but i'm still keeping an eye out for the odd figure.

Finally the wolf is a Reaper Miniatures one - I have a spare somewhere, if I can find it and you'd like to cover the postage/shipping.

Cheers

Very nice, who makes the dogs that the huntsman is looking after?

They are Vendel (come in packs of 5) - now only available from the US - shipping is a bit steep.

I got mine on e-bay.

Really like the Manderley’s, and their banner.

Yeah its a pity they do not appear in the HBO TV series but I spose there has to be a lot of 'trimming' from book to TV....

One reason I got into collecting GoT themed armies was the flags & freedom of interpretation.....(OK that's two reasons........)

Agreed, I am interested to see how.they play out the latest book. I mean considering they play such a prominent role.
Still try to find some decent fat knights to represent them. ::)

Thats one difficulty - most of the 'outstanding' characters are very tall (Clegane's, Brienne, Strong etc) which are easy to alter/find (eg double basing) but 'fat' figures are very much harder to get hold of.

Just add a lot of green stuff! ;) At least, that's what I did, to make my Sandor Clegane 'stronger'.

About the Wolf; wow thank you for the offer! That's really kind! I'm not in a need right now, as I've still a lot to paint, and I'm not focussing on Starks right now, but I really appreaciate it! :)

I made myself a Mormont flag almost exactly like that about a year ago!

Great minds...  ;)

I have found out a couple of spare dogs like these, if you'd like to pay the postage, you can have them.
