Rudi,

I was wondering... that huge AT gun you're working on hasn't got anything to do with this beauty has it? :-*

And could I please have my garden hose back? :(

Thanks for the comments!
Just a quick pic of my German army so far......

I'll take a better one in some "natural" light as my digi-camera is playing up a bit.

Hmmmm...... should i be concerned about Rudi's AT gun...... ???

Regards
PM

Methinks I'm gonna stay away from Germany for a while (at least the 1948 version  lol).  Very nice PM, are there more detailed pics of the balloon somewhere around?

THat won´t do you any good! With all those excellent motorways you Belgians built, they´ll be rolling all over Antwerp in no time! lol

Willie!!!  You promised not to tell!!!! ???

Anyway, I only borrowed your 4" diameter garden hose (can't imagine why you want it back, living in an appartment...) to illustrate to a certain party what I consider "small"  lol

OK, OK I'll return it tonight!

"All those excellent motorways" hé...  Well - as it happens - Chris, I am into civil engineering and my job involves supervision on part of the roadbuilding process in Belgium (I drive 70-80.000 km a year in a country the size of a doormat...).

I can tell you: "excellent" is a groce overstatement: there isn't even enough money available for proper maintenance.  BTW, on the positive side: I'm working for a German manufacturer supplying a product that prolongs the lifespan of asphalt based in Rheinland-Westfalen...  lol

Alright, maybe "excellent" is only relative - everytime I went over to Belgium, it was an easy drive, no congestions (on weekends), even when there was road construction... ;) More than I can say of Germany. But then again, it is customary here to lament our motorways.

I see your point, but take my advice: don't come over on weekdays (or bring your sandwiches...).  I assisted at a meeting in Brussels some months ago and the German contingent was running late.  When they finally arrived, one of them said: "Riesenparkplätze haben Sie hier!".  Guess that sums it up nicely  lol
