After years of collecting and hoarding WEG, AMT/ERTL and Action Fleet Star Wars stuff it is time to actually make a start on them.

The Collection

That looks very much like what I hoarded before getting into painting. Very good start! I am still not finished though...  ;)

Great collection.I too bought loads of the Action Fleet sets. They had just been sitting in a cupboard so i started to sell them off.I would have never had the space to display them.

Looking forward to seeing updates to this venture.

You know the Suns been out  ;)

With the pressure I may buckle and start another project  lol

I have been doing some painting - WIP

I have also got out my old airbrush to have a go on an AT-ST but that isn't going so well  :(

I've noticed on my stormies that there's often a nasty mould line under the edge of the helmet, easy to clean off mind.

Best to spend that little bit extra cleaning them up. Also thin your paints mate both on the lining and blocking. Personally I prefer to undercoat mine grey, block up to white and save the black lining for the joints and under suit.  I don't think a black undercoat works personally for these but that's just me. ;)
