Well here's a teaser of what will be on offer in the Carthaginian boxed set  :D
This chap is one of Hannibal's veterans, sporting Roman mail and scutum, but keeping his Assyrian / Phoenician helmet and Greek style xiphos. The second chap is the same torso but with a more 'wargamer traditional' Antigonid Macedonian helmet, representing the Sacred Band or similar (although, the Sacred Band seem to have disappeared in the 4th Century after having been wiped out twice!)
You could also, of course, mix him in with the Roman Legionaries as an earlier period Princeps, by swapping his head. Both sets will be interchangeable, so plus ca change!
Hu Rhu, I promised you an early peak  ;)
Cheers
Greg

Greg, I've removed the wrong link and uploaded the bigger pic to your post.

They're looking top notch.

Looking good! Will the non veteran set include theuros type shields, as more recent ideas include them being the standard for Carthaginian troops in the Second and Third Punic Wars?

Excellent figure.  My wargaming opponent who is pledged to raise a Carthaginian army will be so pleased.

Hi Guys,
The approach with the Carthaginians will be similar to the Romans, so you will have a mix of troop types in the box. The same way that you can build a 'Legion' containing the main troop types from the Roman box set, so you will be able to do the same with Hannibal's finest.

Can't give too much away just yet, but hopefully will be able to reveal a little more when the 3-ups are ready to show.  ;)

Cheers
Greg

Hi All,
Here's the latest teaser shot for you from our next set of metals. This chap is a character to add to your line of Principes or Italian Allies. He's sporting a Greek style Boeotian helmet, but adorned with feathers in the Italian style, and he's wielding a Greek Kopis or Spanish Falcata, urging his 'best men' forward. A few bits and pieces to finish on him, but he's nearly there.

These look really very good. Can I just say, I would be very hesitant to buy anything resin. I have never had any trouble attaching metal parts to plastic figures.

That guy looks fantastic, you can add him to my next order alongside the Triarii characters when there all available. This sculptor is very good.

A lovely character, Greg, especially like the Boeotian helmet.
