They look good considering you have only used washes in the past  8)

I also like the yellow and orange of your monks  :)

Thanks James. These were very much out of my comfort zone due to the complexity of Samurai and "no wash" attempt. 

I've got some Old West figures up next.  I want to keep going with the "no wash" but that means triads.  Since I don't have triad paints yet, that means I'll have to eyeball the color jumps.  Old West should be much easier in any case...fingers crossed!
