The Nightfolk!
« on: May 25, 2014, 11:27:07 AM »
Hi Lads...picked up these very nice mini's from the Nightfolk range from Northumbrian Tin Soldier...an excellent range of miniatures....it seems to be character driven at the moment which is nice for RPG adventures and more interesting story lines. can anybody suggest an intersting ruleset....

Thanks for info- hope he will be generally available soon.
Re rules have you thought of Song of Blades and Heroes by Ganesha?
Maybe even Brent Spivey's Mayhem? Or Mordheim?

The Song of Blades sytem will probably be very suitable....will have to have a look at their RPG system as well...SONG OF GOLD AND DARKNESS and TALES OF BLADES AND HEROES RPG:)

The Goat figure, though very well done, is the on figure I'm not sure I want.
What is that in his mouth, teeth, tooth, tendrils?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Great fun.  Reminds me of the goblins in that old Dave Bowie movie, Labyrinth.  Also similar to those in Legend (don't miss Tim Curry as the Devil - unfortunately also has a very young Tom Cruse).
