[Ilyad Games: Black Moon Chronicles] Knights of the Light
« on: May 30, 2014, 12:52:45 PM »
Some years ago I bought some Knights of the Light from the now dead Ilyad Games ( :( ). A French company that had many resin miniatures in its catalogue. The Knights of the Light are from the french comic book "Black Moon Chronicles". I always liked the cold look of these knights and hoped to use them someday. I've painted a warband and use it in Mordheim as a "Shadow Warrior" or "Sister of Sigmar" warband.

Here some details about the book "Black Moon Chronicles":

some pictures from the comic book about the knights:

Grand Master Fratus Sinister

Knights of Light

Priest of Light

Captain (a little conversion) and Commander Gunthar

Lay Brothers and Master of the Light

Lay Brothers and Standard Bearer

The warband

Ohh, I love these! I also loved the comics. Your paintjobs are fantastic! I still have the Ilyad Prince Parsifal - Commander of the Knights of Justice and four of his companions to paint one distant day.

The Knights have a sinister aspect that I associate with the religious fanaticism of the Inquisition. Your WONDERFUL use of color & OUTSTANDING brushwork enhance that feeling. VERY WELL DONE!
