Musketeer miniatures 28mm BEF Cavalry

Hi I'm new to the whole 28mm WW1 scene, I have been looking at musketeers BEF cavalry, I was wondering how do they compare size wise to Gripping Beasts Woodbine designs figures? Also are there any UK distributors for the brigade games WW1 figures?
