Why not start this thread again.....?

Say, Another 100 colonial Miniatures Painted. I'm sure that newer members of the forum or folk that have recently got into colonial gaming/painting would love to post up their creations.

What do you guys think?

Darrell.

Why not indeed!!

While I do like the concept of "100 & Done", sometimes life intrudes, or gets overlooked.

For example, I arrived too late to attempt The Pulp Painting Club & a few others.

Don't help I'm a slow painter lacking serious skills, to say nothing of practice...

Perhaps these could be annual in nature, once every year, CPE II, PPC II etc...

Then too it would help if one could enter as many times as you liked, one a day though,
but only your FIRST counts toward the series total.

I understand the desire for these to be over & done, rather than open ended,
yet inclusive is surely as important as quick closure ain't it??

& finally, the big ugly question: who's gonna ramrod it?
SOMEBODY's got to, right?  Otherwise anarchy abounds.

Bounding Anarachists simply won't do...

Me?  Hah!!  I'm incapable of being irresponsible for mine own self, much less others...

Feel free to completely ignored my misguided muddled mutterings.

YMMV

Great idea! After seeing the anouncement of the Congo! ruleset I have been busy preparing my Darkest Africa miniatures (just primed some today).

My personal opinion is that we really ought to give all the boards that haven't had their crack a chance before we think about opening this one up again. Fair's fair.

I think if we have them all running continuously and concurrently it lessens their appeal somehow. If they are all always open then it isn't all that different from just posting your stuff on the boards as normal. I like them as 'special events.' Not that it is actually up to me. I just work here.  :)

Also with the Lead Painter's League running for the next few weeks, we would miss out on some seriously good miniatures from the current partcipants.

Probably not going to happen until all the other boards have had their turn (or at least those ones that it makes sense to do so - not sure how a "workbench" one would work).

It's only fair. Anything else wouldn't be cricket. :)
