I thought it might be interesting to see what people do with their Gothic Horror stuff. The poll questions are not about a specific rulesset or figure range, it's just about anything that goes with the Gothic Horror theme.

Of course you can post what you play or what you collect in this topic.

I´d be interested in some "Prisoner of Zenda vs. The Werewolf Horde of Frankensteins son-in-law" or something like that... seriously, I usually prefer either Cthulhu or robotic death machines, but some Carpathian terrain would be nice as well. But I´m afraid it´s a bit far out for my buddies - I´m slowly grinding away their resistance with my Wild West machine Posse. :D

I'm "would like to play but don't have people to play with" one

I'm collecting everything and have hundreds of minis (westwind especially), hope to be able to play with them one day

Our first poll! Nice to see it works :)

I second that!
plus: there are no rulesets that really satisfy my needs, but I'm confident that I'll find something one day.

not really, looks ugly because the bar in the poll is using a broken image...
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

The poll is pleasingly symmetrical right now. It's a shame the 60 people who picked the "nobody will play with me" option don't live near each other.  :)

Edit: Dammit, 60% of people. Insufficient coffee.

Yes but it's not much worse than sausages

Interesting to see there are quite some people interested but there's a lack of opponents.

Well, my offer stills stands to anyone who wants to come to London and play with my Castle Dracula, Transylvanian village, or Victorian London buildings. :)
I have enough figures to populate a small country now with every character Living or undead considered. :)

I'd love to do some Jack the Ripper stuff, w/ a little Cthulhu for good measure!
I may end up painting some Rippers just to do it, but unless my kid brother is in town, no gaming for me!

i´ll love to play some Vampire vs vampire-hunters or something like that. But i´m lucky if i can play a mensual or so warhammer game. Almost none of my friends are interested in the hobby.  :(

The last scene of "Bram Stoker´s Dracula", the chariot chase to get into the castle before the dawn, surely will make a good game.

Yes, but quite some people interested in it so there's still some hope.
Malamute, have you every played the Kindernacht szenarios? They read very good and the figures are lovely.

Mike - No, I have not played the Kindernacht scenarios. I have the figures though!

I have played a chase throught the Carpathians game, racing to reach Castle Dracula before sunrise. Lots of fun :)

Hopefully with me painting all of these figures, I will be able to blend my gaming groups together...

I play in two main groups.... historic and fantasy. I am hopeing that pulp stuff will bring them both together. My big game hunt that I am working on is really only for a fun scenario, but it will be weird enough to get the sci-fi people and historic enough, so to speak, to get the military people.... I hope!!
Terms of surrender will neither be granted or accepted...
