KISS KISS BANG BANG identification
« on: July 21, 2008, 08:29:21 PM »
I still haven't found out all the archetypes of the KKBB-models.
Any help?

The first two are no problem, Steed & Peel, but who is the one on the right?

In the center is Harry Palmer, the other two seem to be Bond types, or is there something better?

No.1 could be Krilenko (From Russia with love), No.3 seems to be familiar. No.2 I can't tell.

Blofeld and Pussy Galore, but No.3 I don't know.

Don't know, maybe Solo & Kuryakin, the third Maxwell Smart?

Again, No 1 seems to be familiar, but I can't tell. No.2 is from the original Casino Royale, No.3 Bond again?

Bond, the bald man is another case of I know him but wherefrom, the third seems rather generic.

I would have said that the one with the Avengers is their boss, known as "Mother".

The only problem with that identification is that as I recall he was wheelchair-bound.

The first one in the "Harry Palmer" set looks like it could be Roger Moore as The Saint...

...Or possibly Jack Lord as Felix Leiter.  ???

The middle one on the black and white picture reminds me of Kronsteen from From Russia with Love...

Maybe, maybe not. Sorry I can't be more help, all my suggestions are pretty doubtful.

The bald one has got to be Yul Brynner, he was in a few spy films in the 60s and 70s. He played a KGB defector in one, but I can't remember much about it.

And could far right 4th pic be Callan?

The guy on the right with the Sterling SMG, flat cap and sheepskin coat?

I think that looks more like Roger Moore as The Saint.

Now an Edward Woodward as Callan figure would be inspired but he really should be depicted holding a small Napoleonic Marshal. Roll on the complete cast of Callan and then.... The Sandbaggers.

I can't imagine Simon Templer would be seen dead unshaven and in a flat cap.  :o
