Looks good!

Airships are great. I found the components I've got stored for building mine the other day. I told my wife I was going to start it until she pointed out it's too big to have in our current house  ;D

When we move, it'll be one of the first things done!
So many projects..... so little time.......

Welcome to AFF. You certainly have made a good impression with your pics so far. I'm looking forward to seeing your completed airship. I hhave a small airship part built and the basis of a hull for a much larger one. Must do  some work on at least one of these soon.

Nice work. I see Kelloggs are sponsoring your airship  ;).

I was actually thinking about sticking some advertising on my airships, wouldn't suprise me if they had done that. You just have to look at pictures from the late Victorian/Edwardian era and everything is plastered in advertising. One of the funniest I've seen is a diagram of the route of the Brit advance through South Africa during the Boer war. According to an ad by Bovril the route of the march spelt the name Bovril. So there you have it, Bovril sponsored the Boer war!!  ;) (This thread was not sponosored by Bovril in any way, shape or form)
Don't!

Who needs Prussians

From what I can see of your collection, you do... ::)

Welcome to AFF. You certainly have made a good impression with your pics so far.

Thanks! The pictures are simply just a front you see. I'm really just collecting information for a blanket virus I've said too much... :-X

Erm...thanks?

Only 'till Nestlé take more interest. I do love my Weetos...

Ok chaps and chapettes, I've basically finished my dirigible. I'm pondering adding ribs, but I don't think I'll get 'round to it. All that's really left to add is a flag (I won't be painting identification marks etc as I may want to use it for things other than bombing the British). I'm rather pleased with it, considering it cost me absolutely nothing. The paper almost looks like canvas...

Apologies for the blurryness on some of the photos.
I told you so. You damned fools.

No it isn't! Look at the great big holes and creases in the paper! You're supposed to criticize me!  :D
(Thanks)

I stuck a (removable) flag on it:

And thus concludes my "Look at meee!" thread. I do hope I haven’t caused too much offence.

Notin my nature to criticise anice model.  You are critical because it's yours.  I see a nice model to play toys with.  Sorry, I'm not one of the pro-painters on this site, I speed paint my figures to use.

Many thanks all.

Just in case anyone is wondering, the propellers are made from Warhammer Empire Mortars, with clear plastic from blister packs glued to the muzzle.

I'm currently painting my way through a small horde of Flames of War miniatures, but when they're done I've got my mind set on building a river gunboat, a fort and a small Middle Eastern town...ho hum…life can be so hard sometimes...

HHHhhhhmmmmmmmm, River gunboat, you better get a load of dinos to go with that lol lol lol

The airship looks great, a good size too. I myself  have 2 on the go but not happy with either of them. Just waiting 'till I have more time.

Cheers

Fritzy

PS keep up the good work, it never looks that good to the builder/ painter
