ViDe:FuCo: Mounted in NIFV

The HQ element of Mid-Tech says they may be mounted in a NIFV for +150pts.

The entry for NIFV has weapon options for additional cost.

Is it safe to assume that a unit that takes a NIFV does not get any upgrades to the vehicle, even at the increased cost, because of the benefit of not taking up a "Fast or Light Support" slot?

The same question applied to the generic "APC/Transport" options on pp71-72.

No, any vehicle that is bought as a unit option can be upgraded as normal just as the palyer wishes.
You just have to pay the corresponding point cost.

OK. Makes sense. I might suggest adding "(plus extras)" after any line that mentions a unit may buy an IFV for +150 points...

That might be quite a few added parenthesis, but it will make it not look so hard and fast...
