Okay, Glenn, I know you are into Spain in pretty much all ways miniatures but maybe a little diversity is called for here!   :o

Now, on to your request - you have two closely related options: troops of the Spanish American War or troops from the Philippine Insurrection.  Google those conflicts with '+' and then 15 mm.

So how about a little Andorran Militia to bring variety into your life?

You might consider Blue Moon's French Foreign Legion for infantry:

For cavalry consider Eureka:

Or perhaps 15mm Franco-Prussian minis from Essex:

Remember, it's VSF on .. Venus. Feel free to be creative!

Look at 15mm colonial ranges. French foriegn legion figures or Spanish/American war. Or plains war US infantry in tunics would pass as Spanish in campaign uniforms. The Chasseurs d Afrique would be a good cavalry figure painted right. You might even find some Spanish figures in a Boxer rebellion line.

Good ideas for the google search.  Thanks!

Diversidad?   ???  Nunca!   ::)

 lol   ;)

Seriously, I don't think it is any different then someone playing British in the AWI, Napoleonic, Colonial, and WW2 gaming (I know a Brit ex-pat and a local who does just that...)  or playing only ACW (Know a person in-state but not local who does that,)  or only playing Napoleonic in 25 mm (not 28, not 20, not 15, only 25,) and no other era/genre - a local.  Some people specialize a lot.

I decided I would play a "not so major" power for VSF (never considered anyone other than Spain and Austria-Hungary TBH) and I would place it on Venus, Africa, and/or Latin America.  That I need help finding appropriate figures for...  I also will will be doing SAW and VSF/SAW in 15 mm when the budget improves.

I currently have a more than significant diversity of eras/scale...

1970s/1980s Der Kriegspieler/Ral Partha Fantasy in 25 mm; [Not Spanish or even Human!  No Humans at all!]

Fantasy in 6 mm; [Not Spanish or even Human]

Galactic Grenadiers (SF) versus Bugs in 25 mm;  [nation or even planet not explicitly indicated]  *

Stan Johansen's Whistlers, Blarads, and Rauwoof SF in 28 mm;  [definitely not Spanish or even Human]   lol

15 mm SF Humans versus Humanoids/non-Humanoids/Bugs; [nation or even planet not explicitly indicated] *

15 mm and 25 mm VSF skirmish for IHMN; [Not Spanish - Yet!  Only 25 mm Mexican Rebels, 25 mm Tarzan/Sheena/Mowgli clones and 15 mm Tarzan]  I do need some help with 15 mm Spanish here.

28 mm Zorro [these can be Spanish, or Mexican, depending on what year the game is set in...]

old school 25 mm Supers; [not explicitly Spanish] *

15 mm Supers; [not explicitly Spanish] *

Air War 3 mm from WW1 to today; [not Spanish]

1680 - 1810 Presidials, Soldados and Indios in 25 mm; [Okay, these are Spanish!]

3 mm Modern Micro Armor; [not Spanish]

6 mm SF Micro Armor; [not explicitly Spanish] *

3 mm ACW; [not Spanish]

plus all the unlisted stuff I am trying to get rid of currently!

* = these could include Spanish elements... but currently don't.

I have too much diversity in size/scale and era/genre!

You currently only hear about requests for the Spanish I need - 15 mm VSF, SAW, VSF/SAW - currently.     :)

Gracias,

Glenn
