Great work Michi.  :D

But to be honest, there appears to be something missing from the paintwork we normally see on your female figures?

How did you handle painting ALL of that clothing?  ;)

Bump - what's your secret?

Oh, I am so sorry, please accept my excuse my good Sir. I totally forgot to answer, thanks for the reminder.
Here it is in all detail:

Basic skin tone is Vallejo Game Colour #42 "parasite brown", then highlighted with white.
I mix this very base colour "parasite brown" into black and put layers of it on a black coat of paint in increasing amounts until I feel satisfied with the result. You have to avoid getting to close to pure "parasite brown", instead keep enough black in the mixture to make it look flat brownish. That´s it. No big thing. Give it a try and another and after some practice you are there too.

Look here:

That's the flesh, but I was meaning the stockings/leggings on the Valkeeri. Is that also a wahs or it it just a complimentary paint colour straight out of the pot, or did you take the base colour of the main uniform and blend it somehow?

I've thought of painting the legs flesh and then a black ink wash over top but somehow I don't think that will turn out properly.

Great painting Michi. Your blending in the skintones is always impressive.

Great work Michi.

... I was meaning the stockings/leggings on the Valkeeri. ....

I think that was his recipe for the stockings in his reply above. He starts from a base coat of black and then adds layers of a mix of black and brown, with progressively more of the brown into the mix until he's happy. But don't use brown without any black in it. At least that's how I read it.

Ahh...thanks. Yes. I re-read it and see. When he mentioned "skin tone", with that other figure shown, I just assumed he was thinking i was asking about her flesh tones, but now I see she has stockings as well!
